Raffles Singapore with Gustav

Gustav is here at NICI-Mania! After searching all the NICI outlets in Singapore (CNS), we are glad to have found the best looking 35cm Jolly Gustav to match our beautiful Elsa. While Elsa is waiting at home for Gustav, Gustav is here at downtown Raffles Singapore.

Gustav at St Andrew's Cathedral, largest cathedral in Singapore right opposite Raffles city shopping center. This evening is a beautiful weather to take outdoor pictures.

Gustav in front of Long Bar at Raffles Hotel Singapore. The place where Singapore Sling, the signature cocktail of Singapore was invented. Not a fan of Singapore sling cocktail but we did enjoy throwing nut shells all over the floor of Long Bar.

Gustav at At Teng's Bakery. A great place in Raffles Singapore to have homemade breakfast pastries, dim sum, or a traditional half boiled egg and toast with coffee.

The long corridor behind Gustav is all Raffles Hotel, the most famous hotel in Singapore named after Singapore's founder Sir Stamford Raffles but we'll skip the primary school history lesson to another day.

Gustav at another side of Raffles Hotel. Its getting dark now, Gustav is going to have his dinner. More NICI Gustav to come before the ultimate Elsa Gustav meet. See ya next time!

Elsa meets Gustav?

Remember Jolly Elsa who just arrived at NICI-Mania last week? NICI de created Elsa & Gustav as a pair but Elsa came here alone because we haven't found a good looking Gustav suitable for our gorgeous Elsa. An interesting mini Elsa-Gustav-episode happened here at NICI-Mania and we were laughing all over it, we'll show you what happened!

Gustav! Elsa exclaimed upon seeing a familiar figure with similar ear shape as Gustav. Elsa was too excited to have any suspicious doubts in her mind towards the Gustav she's looking at right in front of her. Elsa rushes towards the Gustav figure in delight but what she don't know was

Mischievous Jolly Sheebo at his usual shenanigan impersonating Gustav to cheat Elsa of her feelings. Sheebo thinks thats flipping out his ears made him look like Gustav as the unique ear design is one of the trademark of Elsa & Gustav sheep. You really think you are a genius orange NICI sheep?

Our gullible Jolly Elsa fell for it! Elsa hugs the Gustav imitation and Jolly Sheebo is on cloud nine now. Sheebo's evil plan a success! But Elsa is not a dumb girl though, she is just too blinded by love. Just when Elsa is feeling so cuddly in Sheebo's arms, her eyes looked directly into Sheebo's chin and realised something was fishy...

Elsa asked, Gustav where is your GOAT TEE?! Did you shave it?...

Jolly Sheebo tried to think of an insidious way to explain to Elsa regarding Gustav's goat tee but our NICI hero Hugo Wolf came by and smacks Sheebo's head to stop him from continuing his deceit against our ingenuous Elsa.

Poor Elsa thought she found Gustav. Don't worry, your wait won't be too long. Gustav will be here to be with you soon. Hugo Wolf gives Elsa a comfort hug to assuage her broken heart. Will Elsa & Gustav finally be together? Stay tuned to find out soon! ^_^

Jolly Ben, Jolly Ben, Jolly Ben

Meet Jolly Ben the black NICI sheep plush. If this picture of Jolly Ben looks familiar, you've probably seen him before here. This is not a picture of our Jolly Ben though, refer to another picture below..

This picture of Jolly Ben was taken by us way back in Oct 2008 on the shelf of CNS West Mall in Singapore. Back then, most of the NICI peluches were Jolly Mäh, Jolly Wolf, Jolly Ben, and Jolly Sheebo. We have since regretted not buying this extremely cute 25cm Jolly Ben right here but fortunately

Jolly Ben eventually found his way back home. This 35cm Jolly Ben has the roundest Jolly Mäh face we have ever seen! Okay to be fair, both Ben and our orange NICI sheep Jolly Sheebo shares the same award.

Because of Jolly Ben's big round chubby face, we thought he would be very suitable to bring you some tantalizing food reviews in the future, so stay tuned for more Jolly Ben if you like him.

Older Jolly Mah series NICI sheep has noticeably thicker plush than NICI's newer offerings. 35cm Jolly Ben is a soft, smooth, very huggable plush toy.

By the way, you have already met two Jolly Ben, where is the third Jolly Ben we mentioned in our title?

Here he is and sure you've met mini Jolly Ben before in the Jolly Rosa mini blog post earlier last month. We think that our 35cm Jolly Ben has a hairstyle that resembles the notorious tv personal Simon Cowell. NICI Idol anyone? Jolly Ben will be an honest judge! ^_^

NICI Bed Linen

NICI Bed Linen! We were browsing through NICI shop and stumbled upon these NICI bed linen that they are selling recently. If you're a NICI plush lover like us, you'd definitely seen this before, so we're actually sharing these beautiful bed linens with some of our very supportive family and friends reading this blog. Not a big fan of the Jolly Lovely sheep plush but we love this gorgeous violet Jolly Lovely bed linen!

Jolly Mah animal friends NICI bed linen. They all come with a matching pair of pillow case. We love this design too but why is the pillow case square in shape?

Jolly Mah Gute Laune NICI bed linen. This is beautiful too! We know gute in German means good, so we google translate Laune and it means mood. Now that we look at the design, Jolly Mah really looks like in a good mood, it was pretty self explanatory.

NICI Pirates bed linen! This is very very nice, we love it. The color is beautiful ♥♥ I wonder if the NICI store in Malaysia or the NICI retailers CNS Singapore would bring this in.
