We finished with our shopping, let's checkout our shopping cart. Oh wait! Jack, your trolley is empty, you didn't buy anything at all?

Let's go get dinner! IKEA food here we come~

We ordered the usual 6 piece chicken wing but where's the famous Swedish meatballs?! How could you dine in at IKEA without ordering the signature dish?

Well we could, why not! The grilled salmon is lovely too and it's on special offer the day we went, so yeah ^_^ See ya another day meatballs! After dinner, Jack wanted to grab some food for himself because he did not get to eat any of the above!

Hotdog?

Jack Husky :"Yes, hotdog with chilli sauce and mustard!"

Which is only for One Dollar! But Jack, you squeezed too much chilli sauce..

Our Jack Husky brought home some Swedish goodies! Knowing that Jolly Rosa loves potato chips, he bought home a packet of Swedish chips for Rosa to try!

Hugo Wolf :"Did you buy anything for me?"

..

Jack Husky :"Of course! I know you love alcoholic drinks, so we got you a can of sparkling pear drink, 4.5% alcohol! hehe"

Let's share these shall we?

This is the sparkling pear drink. It actually taste like a desert wine with gas. You don't really feel the alcohol because it is quite sweet. But the alcohol effect will kick in after drinking a whole pint.

IKEA is only selling one flavor of the chips, which is sour & cream. The texture of the chips is the same as our favorite Kettle Chips. The taste is not really special but Jolly Rosa is still eating her heart out of it!

Rosa! We caught you red handed!!

IKEA Toys Deploy

Continuing from the first part of NICI-Mania's IKEA Adventure, we now bring you the second part of the trilogy: IKEA Toys Deploy!

IKEA toys, here I come! There are so many interesting toys in IKEA

Hey doggy, my canine friend..do you want to play with me?

Bulldog: Hey winter dog, how about I play with you?

Jack Husky: RUN~~~

Phew, what a scary looking bulldog, good thing I run pretty fast..

Ooo..I love these soccer balls, NICI should make one just for me

Hey buddy, you look weird, are you alright? What happened to your body?

Farm playground = Fun! The plush cars are very adorable!

Buy me this cooking set and I'll make delicious food for you and all the other NICI toys at home :D

IKEA Furniture Rapture - Jack Husky

Welcome to part one of NICI-Mania's IKEA Adventure trilogy - The Furniture Rapture! Our Jack Husky boy is at IKEA today! Part one is all about IKEA furniture. This is the first time Jack got out of home, so Jack is very excited to share the pictures. Let the fun begin!

Welcome to IKEA, the place where our owner loves to buy some interesting furniture, enjoy a sumptuous dinner or just window shop for fun.

Jack found a nice chair with matching white color for himself!

Isn't this a nice baby bed for him?

We found an even better one!

Jack, you are too small for the baby chair. Our Jolly Rosa or Hugo Wolf at home would fit just fine though.

Jack found some IKEA toys in the furniture department!

Lion Dance - 15th Day of Chinese New Year

Today is the 15th and also the last day of Chinese New Year. According to tradition, people will light up lots of beautiful lanterns, have a sumptuous meal with their family, or go out in the night for moon gazing as the moon is at it's fullest tonight. For us, we finally got some pictures of Lion Dance which happened a few hours earlier! Let's follow our Jack Husky through the pictures~

Lion Dance is believed to bring good luck and fortune to the business. It is just getting started and people are starting to crowd over.

The deafening sound of the drums starts to thump your heart.

There's a plate of lettuce, red envelop and some mandarin oranges which has auspicious meaning to it but it is supposed to be hung up high instead of on the floor.

The lion slowly approaches..

and sits right on top of it.

Then the other lion joins..

Jack Husky :"Hey, why did the lion spit out the lettuce on the floor?"

Little blonde boy :"Can I go touch their head?"

......

and their conversation ended in silence

Now the lion is 'spitting' the mandarin oranges to the audience.

They are waiting for the finale..

and it ends with a loud bang from the huge party popper.
