Clarke Quay x Clarke Quay

Welcome to part 2 of NICI-Mania's Clarke Quay Singapore River adventure. NICI sheep Jolly Mah Jomo continues to bring you more wonderful sceneries of Clarke Quay. Enjoy!
As from mentioned in part 1, we just crossed the bridge over Singapore river to the other side of the Clarke Quay. Our brown nici sheep is now standing in front of a Qing Dynasty-esque restaurant. A huge group of tourist were taking pictures here and we had to wait for a long time for them to clear out.

Oh look! Jolly Jomo found some lobsters in a fish tank. Clarke Quay is well known for the abundance of seafood restaurants lining up along Singapore river.

This is the Singapore river cruise that we have taken before as we mentioned in part 1. There are at least 3 or 4 other river cruise services scattered along Clarke Quay and also Boat Quay. Behind is a shopping center called Liang Court. A couple of famous Japanese Ramen shop like Tampopo and Marutama is inside.

That was the end of the route in Clarke Quay already, so our brown nici sheep turned to another direction. Behind the rows of shophouses in Clarke Quay, there are still many shops specifically pubs and restaurants.

Forbidden City! Well it only forbids underage nici sheep like Jolly Jomo, because no animals allowed.

Unique rooftop design at Clarke Quay

Jolly Jomo and a water fountain spraying water through the floor at Clarke Quay.

Our mischievous nici brown sheep tries to climb a tree. Hello Jomo!

Staircase leading up to some bars and pubs at Clarke Quay.

More shops located on behind the front row of shops in Clarke Quay. Jolly Jomo is happy to see our favorite Sapporo beer!

If you come by the night, the Turkish ice cream seller will be performing the dropping ice cream stunt.

Jolly Jomo taking a rest and enjoying the Singapore river view by Clarke Quay.

The riverside bars are all not opened for business during the day. Jomo is able to sit around taking pictures.

Jolly Jomo catches a glimpse of the Marina Bay Sands unique building at the far end.

Remember the colorful shophouses at Clarke Quay we saw in part 1 from the opposite?

What is this GX5 extreme swing Singapore?! Jolly Jomo is very intrigued to find out..

woah.....

Extreme swing G5! That's what we saw from the opposite side of Clarke Quay. Does Jolly Jomo want to go for a swing!

NICI sheep on extreme swing G5..What would happen?! Who wants to see a flying sheep!
Maybe next time!

Jolly Jomo sits down at Clarke Quay for the last time.

Thats it for Clarke Quay pictures, Jolly Jomo is heading towards Boat Quay and we are still along the Singapore river. So stay tuned for part 3 Boat Quay adventure!

Korean Instant Noodle (Samyang)

In spite of the recent news of Korean instant noodles found having cancer-causing plasticiser. Mutt and Pug are gonna introduce Korean Instant Noodle - Samyang Hot Yukgaejang

Samyang's made in Korea instant noodle is free from contaminants, different from Nong Shim's Korean instant noodles Shin Ramen which is made in China.

You get 2 packs of condiments in the Samyang Korean instant noodle.

First we boil a pot of water and add in some meatballs.

Then we can add in the Samyang Korean instand noodles into the pot.

Next we add in the flavoring packet and also the dried vegetables.

To get more vitamins and nutrients in eating Korean instant noodle, we add in some real vegetables, green leafy vegetables!

Finally to finish it off, crack an egg into the soup. Egg goes very well with the taste of Samyang's Korean instant noodle.

Before we know it, our Samyang korean instant noodle is done! All in 5 minutes. We have meat, vegetables and egg, a very balanced meal.

Pug and Mutt the unhealthy duo proudly presents the healthy version of Samyang Korean instant noodles. This taste much better than Nong Shim's Shin Ramen, try it out some day and you might be a convert like us.

Update!: The Samyang Korean instant noodles cost only S$3.30 at the Korean shop at Marina Square! Much cheaper than NTUC!

a NICI parcel from Germany

One day, the postman left a note under our door and we went to the post office eagerly expecting a NICI parcel from Germany! We collected the NICI parcel back home and Hugo Wolf is exhilarated by what's inside the box!

Hugo Wolf calls upon Jolly Rosa to join the opening ceremony of our NICI parcel. This is the first time we bought from NICI Germany.

Hugo Wolf awaits in suspense while Jolly Rosa cuts open the parcel!

A very beautiful NICI plastic bag laid upon the bejeweled eyes of our two NICI plush.

Underneath the NICI plastic is a box full of NICI goodies sent all the way from Germany!

NICI-Mania queen Jolly Rosa met her sister, Jolly Rosa! (This is how A Tale of Two Jolly Rosa came about). Jolly Rosa was on sale for only 15 Euros on nici-shop.de website! Its a huge bargain for a 50cm Rosa.

Then our NICI minily crocodile met his croco friend, the lying crocodile! We have been wanting to get this for a long time but we couldn't find him anywhere here.

The 35cm lying crocodile plush is also on sale for only 8 Euros on the nici-shop.de website. He is Hugo Wolf's pet from now on. Jolly Rosa loves sneaking in photos as usual.

NICI-Mania finally acquired the Little Rocker Wolf! This is only available in Germany and some other countries. Little Rocker Wolf is unfortunately not on sale, we got him for 9,95 Euros.

Next up is a Minily Rabbit, Leopard and Jolly Lovely magnets. These belong to our good friend Minghui from Just Another Day!

Minily Rabbit snaps a picture with our NICI minily family before she goes off to her owner.

NICI minily rabbit is so cute!! We love her so much we hope we can find one here. Off she goes back to her bag, any minute more we won't be able to let her go!

What's this little creature sneaking on top of Hugo Wolf's head?

Its a NICI werewolf! He is a very rare NICI, we have never seen him before anywhere.

NICI werewolf is wearing a torn shirt because he turned into a werewolf from a human. How cute is that!

NICI wolf family photo. 4 different kinds of NICI wolf here! Heard there is gonna be a new NICI wolf coming up next year and we can't wait for it!

Besides all the cute NICI plushies, we also got a very cute bag of potato chips from Germany! Jolly Rosa's favorite snack is potato chips and she is so happy to get one!

And also a packet of mushroom soft candy. It is so cute!!!

The surprise from our NICI Germany parcel is endless! We keep digging into the box and finding new things!

This wonderful box of NICI is from our good friend Leona and Ute from plushtierkinder.com
Thank you ♥ Leona and Ute for sending us such a wonderful parcel all the way from Germany!

After being overwhelmed by joy in opening the parcel, this cute white dog pops up and surprises us even more. We have no idea who this rare NICI plush is but he is very cute and he is very happy to have found a new home at NICI-Mania.

Lastly, we got 2 extremely lovely baby clothes!!! This is actually a birthday gift which Leona remembered and kept in mind for a few months!! Our NICI-Mania flock is simply overjoyed! Many many THANKS to Leona and Ute!!!!! *Hugs & Kisses*

Next, look out for our NICI plushies fighting for these 2 beautiful clothes, more Jolly Rosa entry and Little Rocker Wolf in detail.
